At 1/4 finals of Copa del Rey. is a match between Barcelona and Real Madrid. In 1st leg at Santiago Bernabeu, Result was 1:2 for Barcelona.

This week, Barca beat Malaga away 1:4, with 3 goals of Lionel Messi. On Wednesday night,   Barcelona will be without Seydou Keita, who is away on African Cup of Nations duty with Mali. Pep Guardiola's side also have three players who have long-term injuries; Ibrahim Afellay and Andreu Fontas and David Villa.



Real also won their league match against Bilbao 4:1.
Pepe was left out of the squad for the victory over Athletic Bilbao. There are suspicions that Mourinho may be removing the defender from the limelight for a short period, after the outcry against his cynical stamp on Messi in Wednesday's first leg.Lassana Diarra and Esteban Granero did not train on Monday either, but it is likely the former will be fit enough to come into the three-man midfield. Sergio Ramos also missed the session, but this was due to personal reasons and he is expected to play. Sami Khedira is unavailable, though, after being ruled out for a month with an ankle injury.

No doubt for me... Another spectacle with a lot of goals, and my choice will be over 3.5 goals!

At Madrigal stadium is the last match of 18th round of Primera Division, a match between Villareal and Sporting Gijon.

Villareal is in very bad form. They are 10 matches without a win in all competitions (including Copa del Rey and Champions league)
They will be playing Sporting Gijon this weekend and the guests precede them in the table by two points. Both clubs are currently in the relegation zone. This makes the fixture a very delicate one and a must-win for the Yellow Submarines.

Recent years Vilalreal was on 3-4 place of the table, and this is a new situation for them. They have only 3 wins in 18 matches, and all 3 wins they concerned at home.

On the other side, Gijon is also bad away... They have 2 wins, one draw and 5 loses...

I still believe in Yellow Submarine... They still have a grat players like Rossi and Nilmar, and I believe they can win this match and go to the middle of the table... They have no choice here, because in next round they play against Barcelona... So... Home win for me!

Today at Etihad stadium is a big derby of Premier league, a match between ManCity and Tottenham.

Mahcester City have a great season, and they are on leading place of the league, 3 points more then United.
Mario Balotelli and Micah Richards are available for Manchester City after missing Monday's trip to Wigan through injury.But they are without the suspended Vincent Kompany, while Yaya and Kolo Toure are on international duty.

On the other side, Tottenham have 5 points less then Man City and they are the biggest surprise of this season, but is a question how long they can play such a good football...
Emmanuel Adebayor is ineligible for Spurs under the terms of his loan move from City, meaning Jermain Defoe is likely to start.Ledley King, sidelined for the last four weeks, remains a major doubt.

I expect an open game today with a lot of goals and a home win!

A Big derby at Emirates stadium, Arsenal is hosting Manchester United.

Arsenal is on 5th place of the table, 15 points less then Man.City. And seems, they don`t have any chance to win thw title...Thierry Henry's hopes of his first Arsenal league start since 2007 could be dashed by a calf strain. Defender Thomas Vermaelen is a major doubt with a similar problem, which has already ruled out Mikel Arteta.

On the other side, Manchester United have 3 points less then City and there is no doubt they will do anything to win this match. Manchester United pair Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are available after both missed last weekend's win over Bolton with minor injuries.Anderson is currently sidelined after suffering a training-ground injury.

At this moment, for me, United is a big favourite and they will win this match!

At Copa Del Rey in 1/4 finals of the competition is the biggest match of Spannish football, a match between Real Madrid and Barcelona. This 2 teams will play 2 matches in 7 days and this will be a great for all football fans.

Real Madrid has played 8 Spain Primera Division matches this season on Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. On home ground Real Madrid has won 7, drawn 0 and lost 1 matches. This ranks Los Galacticos 2nd in home team performance in the Spain Primera Division. Real have 7 consecutive wins, all after a defeat against Barcelona at home at Bernabeu 2 monhts ago, 1:3. They play really good football, even if they lose at half time, like against Malaga or Mallorca (both matches they won). For Real Madrid is probably out of team Pepe, but when is Mourinho`s team, I`m, not so sure about this information...

This ranks the Barca 3rd in away team performance in the Spain Primera Division. Barcelona have fantastic results in last matches but they didn`t play so good like few monhts ago... All followers of my blog knows my big respect for Barcelona, but at this moment, my pick will be Real Madrid`s win!

At stadium San Moix is a match between Mallorca and Real Madrid.

Mallorca is on 14th place of the table. They won in last cup match against Sociedad in cup 6:1. Mallorca boss Joaquin Caparros welcomed striker Marvin Ogunjimi back to training this week after an ankle injury following his arrival from Genk and he could finally make his La Liga debut.

On the other side, Real beat Malaga in cup.Madrid will have to do without Germany midfielder Sami Khedira at Son Moix after he suffered a sprained ankle against Malaga which is set to sideline him for a month. Angel Di Maria, meanwhile, may require a late fitness test on a knock.

I expect another match with a lot of goals from both sides. My choice will be over 3.5 goals!

The France Ligue 1 football match between Paris SG (1st) and Toulouse (7th) kicks off on 14 January 2012.

Paris SG has played 10 France Ligue 1 matches this season on Parc des Princes. On home ground Paris SG has won 7, drawn 1 and lost 2 matches. In 19th round of French Ligue 2 is a match between Istre and Monaco.

Istre is on 13th place of table with great form, with 4 consecutive wins (including 2 wins in french cup against clubs like Tierse or Lion Desire. In league 2 they won matches against Arles and Amiens. At home they have 3 wins, 4 draws and 2 loses.

On the other side, we have former Champions league finalsits Monaco. As we saw in my previews, they (expectiggly) lose a cup match against Angers and they are concentred to stay in French Ligue 2. Theya re on bottom of the table, and there is no doubt they will do all to stay at this competition. They showed a very good game against Angers, and even scored 3 goals (2 of them were scored by Ludovic Giuly). Thsir coach is Marco Simone, former striker of the team. And in team are experienced players like goalkeeper Carasso, Giuly or Marama Vahirua. For this match out of tema are Adriano, Chabbert, Makengo and Hansson.

It1s interesting, Monaco won last 2 matches between this 2 teams (1:0 at this stadium and 2:1 at Stade Louis II). For me this should be a value bet on away win!

In 21st round of Premier league is a match between Blackbrn and Fulham.

VEry important match for Blackburn. Theya re on bottom of the table with 14 points from 20 matches. They have 2 consecutive loses (one in cup against Newcastle, and a match in league against Stoke). Before that they beat sensationaly United at Old Trafford and played 1:1 against Liverpool at Anfield road). Paul Robinson, David Dunn and Junior Hoilett should also return after sitting out the defeat at Newcastle.

On the other side Fulham is on 14th place of the table. They are on really good form. They won against Charlton in cup and against ARsenal in league, Before that they have 2 draws. Fulham duo Andrew Johnson and Simon Davies are both in contention after recovering from injury.Dickson Etuhu is doubtful, while Mark Schwarzer is a couple of weeks away from a first-team return.

I still believe in Blackburn. Home win!

In 2nd leg of 1/8 finals of Copa del Rey, in Pamplona is a match between Osasuna and Barcelona. In 1st leg between this 2 teams, result was 4:0 for Barcelona...

Osasuna is in very good form. they lose on.y a match against Barcelona in last 9 matches! Jose Luis Mendilibar has several injury problems going into the game and will be without Roversio, Kike Sola, Ruben, Jukka Raitala and Ion Echaide, although Raul Garcia could pass a late fitness test to start in midfield.

On the other side, after 8 consecutive wins, Barca played only a draw against Espanyol on Sunday night.
With Barcelona holding a commanding lead going into the second leg, Pep Guardiola could use the game to rotate his squad. Jose Manuel Pinto will replace Victor Valdes in goal to resume his usual starting role in Copa del Rey fixtures. Adriano could start at left-back in place of Eric Abidal with Maxwell apparently close to moving to French club Paris Saint-Germain. Seydou Keita has now joined up with his Malian team-mates for the African Cup of Nations, and Thiago could come into the midfield.

I expect a very good game from home side, and i believe they could remain unbeaten against Barcelona who is already qualified to the next round...

In 2nd semifinal of League Cup is a match between Man City and Liverpool. In final of this competition is already Crystal Palace who beat Cardiff 1:0.

This 2 teams already played 2 matches this season. At Etihad stadium, 10 days ago, Man City won 3:0, while on Anfield result was 1:1. MAncini have a problems with his squad, because African players are on preparations for following African cup of nations. So, out of team are brothers Toure. Out of team is also Edin Dzeko.

On the other side we have Liverpool, who don`t have such of problems. Out of team for reds is suspended Suarez, which this will be 4th match since he is banned (8 matches). Liverpool is in good form. In FA Cup they beat Oldham 5:1 on Friday so they go to Etihad with big ambitions...

On the other side, City lose at home against their biggest rivals United 2:3, and they are out of FA Cup, so there is no doubt, they will do anything to win ths match and almost to win this trophee!
City showed very good football this season, while on the other side, Liverpool didn`t impressed me at all... So my choice will be a home win!
